Challenge
Scottish Enterprise sought a partner to run the Scottish Hydrogen Innovation Network (SHINe). The SHINe programme helps innovators and corporates access Scotland’s growing range of innovation assets. CLT was appointed to connect and promote this network and support more effective utilisation of the network and assets in Scotland.
The goal of the network is to accelerate innovation in Scotland, strengthen hydrogen capabilities and projects, and facilitate lasting partnerships.
Solution
CLT have been appointed to:
- Develop a capability directory with a list of existing hydrogen innovators in Scotland
- Create a central point of contact for Scotland’s hydrogen innovation assets to make it easier for companies and investors to navigate Scotland’s hydrogen innovation landscape
- Develop a programme of engagement events to showcase the nation’s diverse offerings across the hydrogen innovation space and support the growth of the innovation ecosystem
- Provide resources and guidance on innovation funding opportunities and assets to reduce research costs for companies
Outcomes
We are currently midway through the programme (2025) and have now launched the website and newsreel and successfully connected investors, innovators and corporates around the network.
