CLT awarded green finance contract with British Embassy Mexico

CLT is working on a Prosperity Fund initiative to identity high-value UK green finance opportunities in Mexico. The work is informing the green finance strategy of the British Embassy Mexico as it works to promote the UK’s companies and world-leading capabilities in green finance.

CLT will identify promising investment targets where Mexican demand and UK capability overlap. The work will help Mexico achieve its greenhouse gas reduction targets and support poverty reduction by encouraging the financing of climate resilient infrastructure and renewable energy.

The City of London’s Lord Mayor is visiting Mexico today to promote UK green finance. The launch of CLT’s project coincides with the visit and we are ensuring that our work aligns with the goals and strategy of the Green Finance Initiative.

CLT partnering with Mexico-based firm Tempus Analitica, which is providing insights into the local Mexican market, and will complete this work by March 2019.
