Join CLT at London Climate Action Week’s innovation event

CLT is working with the Aldersgate Group and BT to host an exciting event focused on achieving net zero emissions though innovation.

Visit the Aldersgate Group website to register your interest in attending.

It is estimated that ICT could save the UK up to 24% of carbon emissions annually in 2030. With the Committee on Climate Change recently advising the UK government to cut emissions to net zero by 2050, technology will have a key role to play in meeting this future target. So where do key sectors need to decarbonise to achieve net zero and how can technology play a role in enabling the transition that will be required?

Chaired by Nick Molho, Executive Director at the Aldersgate Group, and with an introduction from Andy Wales, Chief Digital Impact and Sustainability Officer at BT, this event will feature a panel of leaders from technology, the built environment, power and finance to debate the role of technology in achieving net zero emissions and how these technology solutions can be rapidly scaled up. Taking place during the first ever London Climate Action Week, the event will be followed by an exhibition of various SMEs showcasing technology solutions aimed at cutting emissions in various sectors of the UK’s economy.
