Challenge

RX Global commissioned CLT to curate and deliver The Greenhouse, the innovation hub at the 2026 World Future Energy Summit (WFES), a flagship sustainability event held under UAE patronage as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. The challenge was to identify, assess and recruit a highly selective cohort of climate-tech SMEs that were both relevant to regional priorities and sufficiently compelling to attract investors, strategic partners and end users at scale.

Solution

CLT designed and delivered an end-to-end startup scouting and activation programme for WFES 2026. Drawing on CLT’s global innovator, Venture Capital and financing networks, the team sourced and screened high-potential climate-tech companies, selected an international cohort of 70 innovators, coached founders, created investor-ready profiles and provided resources for them to prepare for pitching to investors, corporates and potential customers throughout the Summit.
Drawing on CLT’s global innovator, venture capital and financing networks, the team sourced and screened high-potential climate-tech companies, selected an international cohort of 70 innovators, coached founders, developed investor-ready profiles, and provided practical support to help companies prepare for pitching to investors, corporates and prospective customers throughout the Summit. The work combined application design, startup assessment, event management and founder coaching to ensure The Greenhouse generated strong commercial engagement and showcased high-quality, investment-ready innovation.

Outcome

The programme scaled significantly from 50 innovators in 2025 to 70 in 2026, representing 30 different countries. The selected cohort showcased the breadth of climate innovation relevant to the gulf region, spanning categories such as water solutions, carbon capture, circular economy, AI, sustainable cities, solar and clean energy, hydrogen, and advanced industrial decarbonisation technologies.

One innovator said: “Being at WFES opened so many opportunities for our company to expand in the UAE. We connected with local investors, expanded our customer list with on-site closed sales, and gained a lot of knowledge on the market opportunities in the region. The whole team at CLT was truly involved from the beginning to the end, making this an incredible experience. We’re definitely making the UAE our big focus of expansion.”

CLT brought together a delegation of global top 70 clean-tech startups across 30 different countries to exhibit at The Greenhouse 2026 World Future Energy Summit.

The event generated strong commercial momentum. During the Summit, participating companies reported high-value discussions, including investment conversations and sales discussions. Around 20% of participating companies reported more than 10 sales meetings, demonstrating strong market traction and the value of CLT’s recruitment, preparation and convening model.
