THE CHALLENGE

The IP Group and Cambridge University wanted to commercialise an energy harvesting technology, but needed an investible business plan. IP Group needed the University to identify the best target markets, differentiate its product for the right end-users, and promote its technology to target clients.

THE OUTCOME

CLT developed a fully-costed three-year business plan. We identified the most promising target markets for the company, developed a competitor analysis and market entry strategy and mapped out sales routes. CLT’s business plan was approved for investment, which enabled the venture to spin-out of Cambridge University.
